My Scheduler comes with its own Client Preferences that you may want or need to adjust before using the application. These can be accessed by selecting Settings from the My Apps page and selecting the My Scheduler tab.
Preferences
The Preferences tab contains basic preferences for adjusting the functionality of My Scheduler.
Email Members when they are:
The first section of the My Scheduler preferences will allow you to customize when/if members receive emails depending on certain situations.
- Added to an Event: This will send members emails whenever they are added to an event
- Cancelled from an event: This will send members emails whenever they are removed from an event
- Marked Absent from an event: This will send members emails whenever they are marked absent for an event
Note
These will only work for members that have emails on their account. Any members without an email address on their account will NOT receive any emails regarding My Scheduler changes.
Scheduler Preferences
This section only has one option: Flat Rate Commission Should Always Payout. This preference does exactly what it says: whenever a trainer has a flat rate commission set up, that commission will ALWAYS populate in the Trainer Commission Detail report indicating that the trainer should be paid the commission, regardless of the attendance of the event.

Update Section
- Allow paid absences to pay out commission: This preference will work similar to the above preference. If there is an event with commission set up, any members marked as Paid Absence will populate in the Trainer Commission Detail report.
Online Settings
The Online Settings tab of the My Scheduler Client Preferences will contain multiple settings to adjust the Online Scheduler and Public Calendar functionality.
Online Preferences
- When showing events online, include trainer name: Determines if trainer names should be displayed along with events that display online
- Which name should show as title online: Determines if the event Category, Event Type, or Series should be used as the name of the event online
- What name should show as the subtitle online: Determines if the event Category, Event Type, or Series should be used as the name of the event online. Can also be set to None
- Allow sign-ups from Public Calendar: Allows members to use the Public Calendar to sign up for events
Online Connect
The Online Connect section simply provides links to the Public Calendar. Selecting either link will re-direct you to your Public Calendar page. The Public Calendar Link - Embeddable link should be used to embed your Public Calendar in your club website
