Managing Members

Members, sometimes referred to as cardholders or secondary members, are managed in Member Management. All members of an account are displayed in the Members table in the Account Info section on the Account page.

Use the Add Member button to add a new member to the account. Note: Adding a member to an existing account does not automatically adjust the recurring payment amount. That will have to be done manually if required.

Use the Edit Profile link to edit information about an existing member, including their status. Note: Deactivating an existing member does not automatically adjust the recurring payment amount. That will have to be done manually if required.

Personal Information

Status: Status of the member, not the account; this is used in determining club access

Email: Member's email; this is used to email members where email is available, and for clubs using a branded mobile app, this must be unique

Gender: Member's gender assigned at birth, or as specified on their license / state identification

Alt Account: Club specified member identification, typically a membership card number for clubs issuing physical cards or key fobs

Insurance Account: Option to capture an insurance account number for members participating in insurance sponsored memberships, such as Silver Sneakers

Club Restriction: Option to override account level club access for a specific member. If this is not set, the member's club access follows whatever is set at the account level. 

Text Opt In: For clubs integrated with Club OS, a text opt in is captured during member sign up and synced to Club OS communication preferences. Note: Users are able to manually opt members in only if they are permitted via a user permission. All users are permitted to manually opt members out. 

Email Opt In: Member email opt in is captured during member sign up and synced to Club OS communication preferences. This is also used to optionally exclude members from receiving email communication via the Reports application. All users are permitted to manually opt members in or out. 

 

Attributes

This section displays all configured member attributes for viewing and editing.

     

Mobile App Access

For clubs using the branded mobile app, this section displays the member's mobile account status provides the option to re-send a invite to create an account, if not yet created, or reset their password, if already created. 

 

Assigned Trainers

For clubs using the branded mobile app, this section displays the member's assigned trainer or trainers. Multiple trainers may be assigned.  

 

Sessions Per Payment

This section displays sessions that the members receives with each membership dues payment. Adjustments to sessions do not automatically change the recurring payment amount. Sessions are assigned to members as membership dues payments are made for the accounts - if a payment is not made, or if the account does not have recurring payments, these sessions will not be assigned to members.  

The Available Session Buckets list displays inventory items set up as session bucket type item and item set up is used for defaulting value when the session is added to an account.
