Which Online Join Page(s) Should I Use?

Follow

Member Enrollment comes with multiple online enrollment options for you to use, but it may be a bit confusing as to which online join page should be used in any given situation. This article will help give you an idea as to what each page is best used for and which one(s) you should be using.

Be sure to review how to access your Online Join links here

Online Join Lead

What Does This Do: Lead Capture saves the information of new members who do NOT complete sign-up and automatically adds them as a prospect

Who Should Use This: If you are integrated with Club OS, this should be the only Online Join link used for new members. If you are NOT integrated with Club OS, it is highly recommended that you use this link in place of the Member and Prospect links

The first online join link we will look into is the Online Join Lead link. Selecting this link will open the Online Join Lead Capture page in a new browser window.

Lead Capture is a way to gather some basic information on new members in the event that they begin the sign-up process, but do not complete it. New members who exit Online Join without finishing sign-up will have their information saved and automatically entered into a new prospect account in ASF, as well as a new lead account in Club OS if you are integrated.

Online Join All Offers (Member)

What Does This Do: Links to all member offers that you have made available for Online Join and allows new members to sign themselves up for a membership

Who Should Use This: You should use this Online Join link if you are NOT integrated with Club OS and wish to sign up members externally without capturing lead information

The Online Join All Offers (Member) link will open the Online Join page for your member offers in a new browser window. This page will contain all member offers that you have made available for Online Join.

If you are NOT using the Lead Capture page, then this will be the main page you will use for new members to sign themselves up online.

Online Join All Offers (Prospect)

What Does This Do: Links to all prospect offers that you have made available for Online Join and allows prospective members to sign up for a prospect offer

Who Should Use This: You should use Online Join for prospects if you are not using the Lead Capture feature but still wish to offer prospect-like services, such as trial memberships

The Online Join All Offers (Prospect) link will open the Online Join page for your prospect offers in a new browser window. This page will contain all prospect offers that you have made available for Online Join.

Online Member Renewal

What Does This Do: Links existing members to a page where they can renew their own membership

Who Should Use This: You should use this Online Join feature if you want to allow your members to renew their own memberships. This feature is not dependent on being integrated with Club OS

The Online Member Renewal link will open the Renewal page. This page will be used by existing members to renew their own memberships if they are eligible. When accessing the page, members will need to log in using their membership account number and their first and last names.

This feature is available regardless of whether you are integrated with Club OS or not. In order for members to be able to renew themselves, they will need to be on a Term membership account that is about to expire, or they will need to be set up with a Preset Renewal for their Term membership.
